Building on a basic knowledge of SystemVerilog, this book demystifies FV and presents the practical applications that are bringing it into mainstream design and validation processes at Intel and other companies. About the Author
Erik has worked at Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon for over two decades, in a variety of positions involving software, design, simulation, and formal verification. Currently he works in the Design Technology and Solutions division, where he supports formal verification usage for Intel teams worldwide. In his spare time he hosts the “Math Mutation” podcast, and serves as an elected director on the Hillsboro school board.

Tom recently joined the Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty at Portland State University and directs a graduate track in Design Verification and Validation. Previously, he was at Intel Corporation for 17 years in Hillsboro, Oregon, where he managed Intel's largest pre-silicon validation formal verification team develop and apply FPV techniques on multiple generations of microprocessor designs. Tom received a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis.

Kiran has been working at intel India for past 11 years and has worked in various areas of the chip design cycle which includes RTL design, structural design, circuit design, simulation and various levels of verification including formal verification. Currently he leads the formal verification efforts for the graphics design in Visual Platform Group and supports formal verification at intel india site.

This cruising guide served us well throughout four months of Caribbean cruising. In thumbing through other books, I have yet to find any pilot book as thorough and useful. It is also good value for the money as it covers all the Leeward and Windward islands, using good detail despite the broad scope. We always found the information accurate and dependable. Detail charts of ports are very good (for example, all the wrecks at St Pierre are indicated) and it seems to have done a good job of keeping up with new developments in the islands (such as the new marinas being developed in Grenada and elsewhere). The information is well organized so that you can quickly find the pilot notes and easily distinguish them from other information such as the useful tips on things ashore. Ten years ago, almost to the day, the First Edition of Folke Myrvang's MG34 MG42, German Universal Machineguns was published, following a long period of research and writing. Some of this material, which is of great interest to all students of small arms, was apparently stolen from the secret weapons factory in Izhevsk many years ago. Also included is a transcript of the interview which Dr Gruner granted to the Dresden Military Museum in 1991, only a few years before his death. As an aid to collectors attempting to avoid the rising tide of fakes and reproductions we offer in these two volumes the most comprehensive and authoritative study of German machinegun models, components and accessories ever published, a study of which will materially aid in the search for genuine artefacts of lasting value.
